Where Work Starts

Start With The Client’s First Useful Result.

Reporting is a common starting point. The client’s need decides where the work begins.

Where Work Starts: four alternative starting points, clear referral visibility, reliable job handoffs, source-grounded AI answers and confident first use, each moving from a client problem to one bounded first result with a named owner and an acceptance check, with evidence guiding the next work.

Four Possible Starting Points

Four Ways Work Can Start

Each fictional example starts from a different client need. A client begins wherever its need is clearest.

Before Any Build

Agree The First Result

  1. Business NeedThe decision, follow-up or recurring problem to improve.
  2. Permitted InputsOnly the records and operating knowledge the result needs, with permission to use them.
  3. Named User & OwnerWho uses the result and who validates it.
  4. Bounded DeliverableOne view, workflow, workspace or practice routine.
  5. Acceptance EvidenceWhat the owner must be able to see, do or confirm.

After First Use

Choose The Next Work From Evidence

First use shows what became visible, where work still stalls and who is ready to own the next improvement. Robert then prioritizes the biggest revenue opportunity that this evidence and the client’s readiness support. It guides the choice; it does not guarantee a result.

People & Decisions

Who Shapes And Approves The Work

Ongoing licensed access and support are separate from new development. Each new development scope names its own deliverable and acceptance.

Both Foundations, Only What The Result Needs

Foundation 1 · Records & Data

The facts the first result relies on: inquiries, jobs, documents or activity.

Foundation 2 · Operating Knowledge

The definitions, procedures, roles and rules that say what those facts mean and what happens next.
