Separately Scoped Treatment Branch
Why Billing Review Stands On Its Own
Referral development and admissions are one engagement. Billing review is scoped separately, when a treatment provider wants its billing questions answered with evidence. It can draw on the same records and operating knowledge, but its buyer, evidence, reviewer, approval chain and acceptance tests are different.
- BuyerBilling leadership or the owner, not the BD or admissions lead.
- EvidenceBilling records, review evidence and payment records the client provides.
- ReviewerA qualified billing reviewer agreed with the client. Jeanne contributes when separately agreed.
- ApprovalClient billing leadership approves findings, actions and closure.
The Review
Three Parts, Each With Its Own Acceptance Test
Part 1Self-Audit
Organize and test the client’s own billing evidence against an agreed scope, and log every gap with a source, owner and next action.Open Self-Audit →
Part 2Expert Review
A qualified reviewer agreed with the client decides what selected exceptions mean. Client billing leadership approves.Open Expert Review →
Part 3Remediation Follow-Through
Approved actions get owners, evidence, an agreed recheck and an explicit closure decision.Open Remediation Follow-Through →
