The Foundation · Section 2.4
Keeping The Foundation Connected And Current
Records keep changing, and so does how a company works. BH Tech keeps business data and company knowledge connected to the tools a company uses, refreshed on an agreed basis and checked before reports, AI support or workflows use them.

Fresh data is not enough if the task still uses old guidance, and published guidance is not enough until the task packet holds it. Every update carries a source, owner, as-of time or version, a check and a history.
Illustrative Source Connections
Keep The Tools. Make The Connections Explicit.
Explore a fictional connection register: the source, responsible owner, shared identifiers, update method and checks for each part of the foundation.

Secondary Example: A CRM Label Change
The CRM now shows Sales Accepted where it showed Qualified. A new name does not prove the same meaning, so the label is held until its owner confirms meaning and scope, and the data map and role guidance change together.
Before The Check
OPP-21 (CUS-02, parking lot lighting, fictional) is exported as Sales Accepted. Stage map v1.0 has no such label, so the BD pipeline report holds OPP-21 as unmapped instead of placing it under either stage.
After The Check
OPP-21 maps to Sales Accepted under stage map v1.1 and DEF-05 v1.1, as confirmed by the BD Lead. The rerun report lists it once under the current label, and records before the rename keep Qualified as recorded.
What BH Tech Produces
A Working Foundation With Clear Ownership
Source And Update Register
Each source with its owner, record IDs, connection method, illustrative cadence, last successful refresh, checks and limitations, plus the ID and stage maps and a log of failed or delayed runs.
Versioned Knowledge And Change History
Each SOP, rule, definition and role guide with its owner, source, version, status and review, including drafts, retirements and what changed between versions.
Checked Task Context And Exception Handoff
For each role and task, the data as-of and knowledge versions the packet actually holds and its last test, plus an issue log naming the owner, repair, recheck and affected outputs.
The Whole Foundation Story
Back To The Company Foundation
The Company foundation now has its full shape. 2.1 connected Crestline's records, 2.2 made its know-how reviewed and usable, and 2.3 used both for reporting, AI support and action. 2.4 keeps both current, with each update checked before it reaches the task and people still deciding.
